Related to country: India

“Arise, Awake and Stop not till the goal is reached”

Swami Vivekananda

Globalization in the present scenario is the greatest challenge in the process of Nation Building. The challenge is even greater for a Nation like India where 70% of the population is Young and below the age of 35. Youth are not only the beauty of the present but the future of the world too. At present, means of life is becoming more important than the meaning of life for youth. Importance of Peace, respect for human rights, equity, care for nature, freedom and solidarity are vanishing from the scene.

Therefore we plan to create a platform and carry out a nationwide campaign in the name “Jago Yuva Bharath” (JYB), organized by Youth Activ8 Foundation (YAF) Regd. It is an youth initiative to empower and support Youth to be the agents of change, and reinstate the spirit of National Integration and Peace.  It also envisages an idea to help youth arise with the vision and awake them to take up responsibilities of the present concerns such as Environmental Degradation, Climate Change, Peace and Harmony, etc. and create a beautiful and friendly world for all.

JYB is a two months long campaign on Wheels starting from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. The campaign aims to mobilize youth and gather consensus in and around government policies and issue of interest of their State and Nation. We would be uniting Youth Movements, Organizations, NGOs, Universities, College and School Students to lobby for greater role of youth in defining the future of the Nation. Keeping in mind the share of its sons and daughters in the demographic bulge of our motherland and we should take responsibility for a better future and a better world.
